Do underground tanks need special engineering?
Below-ground tanks carry ground and traffic loads, so the wall thickness, ribbing and install detail matter. We design the tank for your burial depth and loading, and will advise the bedding and backfill requirements for a sound install.
What material are underground tanks made from?
We build underground tanks from HDPE or Polypropylene. Both are immune to the corrosion that attacks steel and concrete below ground, and both can be weld-repaired or modified if access fittings need to change later.
Can you build to my site dimensions?
Yes. We fabricate to the footprint and depth your site allows, with the access riser, inlet, outlet and overflow positioned for your layout.
