How We Fabricate UHMWPE
UHMWPE is fabricated using CNC routing and saw cutting. It cannot be welded, so assemblies are mechanically fastened. Available in natural, black, and green (regenerated) grades from 5mm to 100mm+.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can UHMWPE be welded? +
No, UHMWPE cannot be welded due to its extremely high molecular weight. Assemblies are mechanically fastened using bolts, rivets, or countersunk screws.
What's the difference between HDPE and UHMWPE? +
UHMWPE has far superior abrasion resistance and impact strength. HDPE is easier to fabricate and weld. For wear applications, UHMWPE is the clear choice.
Is UHMWPE food-safe? +
Yes, UHMWPE is FDA food-grade compliant and is widely used in food processing for cutting boards, guide rails, and wear strips.
