How we get your order to you, and what happens if something is not right.

Delivery & pickup
Free from 9 Leda Drive, Burleigh Heads QLD. Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. We will call or email when your order is ready.
Local delivery on our own vehicles for most orders. Quoted per job by size and weight.
Road freight, typically 1-3 business days in transit once dispatched.
Quoted per job. Oversized sheet and tanks may need specialist freight.
Freight is quoted on your order rather than charged at a flat rate - plastic sheet is bulky and light, so the size of the pack drives the cost more than the weight does. Transit times are set by the carrier and sit outside the production lead time we quote you.
Where your order ships from
Fabrication is done at our Burleigh Heads workshop. Stock material may come from one of our own depots around Australia - we dispatch from whichever can supply your order, which is not always the one nearest you. We do not publish depot addresses, and it makes no difference to your price or the freight you were quoted.
An order filled from more than one location may reach you as separate consignments on different days. Where we split an order for our own operational reasons, you are not charged extra freight for it, and we will tell you rather than hold the rest back. If you need to send something back, wait for our authorisation - it carries the correct return address, which depends on your order. Never post to the address on the consignment note.
Lead times
We quote a lead time on every job. It runs in business days from the later of your deposit clearing and your approval of the final drawing, and it excludes freight transit.
Lead times are estimates made in good faith, not guarantees. Supplier material delays, variations you request, and equipment breakdowns can extend them. If your job is going to run materially past its estimate we will tell you. If a delay is causing you a problem, call us on 07 5535 7544 - we would rather re-plan the job with you than have you find out late.
Check your order on arrival
Please inspect your goods when they arrive. Tell us about any shortage, transit damage or visible defect within 7 days, with photos where you can. Do not cut, drill or install anything you think is faulty - contact us first, because working on it may prevent us assessing the fault or returning the material to our supplier.
What we will put right
- Goods that arrived damaged in transit - tell us within 7 days, with photos.
- Goods with a manufacturing defect.
- Goods that do not match the specification or drawing you approved.
- The wrong item shipped.
What we cannot take back
- Change of mind on a custom-fabricated or cut-to-size item.
- Goods made correctly to a specification or drawing you approved.
- An order you cancelled after materials were ordered or production had started.
- Goods you have cut, drilled, installed or modified after receipt.
Cancelling an order or asking for a refund
Cancellations and refund requests must be sent in writing to sales@pmplastics.com.au, quoting your quote or invoice number. A cancellation takes effect only when we acknowledge it by return email - a phone call does not stop work on your job.
Because we fabricate to your dimensions, we cannot refund an order once materials have been ordered or production has started. Custom-cut material has no resale value to anyone else. Before that point, your deposit is refunded in full.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If there is a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, we will repair, replace or refund at our option. See section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.
