Cairns and the surrounding Tablelands run on captured water. Cane and banana growers on the Atherton Tableland, acreage homes from Gordonvale to Mareeba, and tourism operators along the coast all need reliable storage that survives the wet-season UV load and the long dry. We fabricate HDPE rainwater tanks to non-standard footprints that pre-moulded round tanks cannot match - slimline tanks against a Queenslander, tapered tanks for sloping Tablelands blocks, and large catchment tanks for sheds and packing facilities.

For the Cairns marine and processing sectors we build polypropylene process and wash-down tanks, and PVC-lined chemical vessels for water treatment. Every tank is fabricated in our Burleigh Heads workshop and freighted north on a palletised or flatbed run, so you get a custom-built tank without a local fabricator's wait list.

Do you deliver water tanks to Cairns and the Atherton Tableland?
Yes. We fabricate in our Burleigh Heads workshop and freight tanks throughout Far North Queensland, including Cairns, the Atherton Tableland, Innisfail and Port Douglas. Freight is quoted on tank size; larger tanks ship on a flatbed direct to site.
Will an HDPE tank handle the Far North wet-season sun?
Yes. The PE-100 black HDPE we use carries a carbon-black UV package rated for permanent outdoor exposure in tropical Australian conditions. It will not corrode like steel and resists the intense Far North UV far better than lighter-grade poly.
Can you build a large catchment tank for a shed or packing facility?
Yes. We regularly build catchment and storage tanks over 10,000 litres for sheds, packing facilities and rural properties, with welded-in outlets, overflow and inlet fittings to your layout. Capacities beyond 50,000 litres are built to order.
What material will my water tank be made from?
We fabricate water tanks from HDPE, Polypropylene and PVC. For rainwater and potable storage we use food-grade HDPE; for chemical or process water we use Polypropylene or PVC for their chemical resistance. We will recommend the right material for your application when we quote.
Can you build a tank to a custom size or shape?
Yes. Custom footprints are most of our tank work. Send the available envelope (length, width, height and any obstructions) and the capacity you need, and we will design a tank to fit. We CNC-cut every panel before welding, so slimline, rectangular, sloped-base and tapered tanks are all feasible.
What capacities can you fabricate?
From small under-bench reserves of around 50 litres up to large storage tanks exceeding 50,000 litres. Tanks are extrusion-welded by trade-qualified welders and leak-tested before they leave our Burleigh Heads workshop.
